Dates, locations and confirmed details for Talks Day, AGM, Summer Concours and BDC Silverstone plus Touring Assembly and Centenary Tour to Le Mans

Adrian Hallmark, the Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, will be the keynote speaker at the 3rd Talks Day to be held on Saturday 6 April at the Clubhouse in Wroxton.

Adrian will be one of three fascinating speakers at the event organised in conjunction by the Bentley Memorial Foundation and the BDC. Also confirmed are WOBMF Chairman Ken Lea and former Bentley Director of Motorsport Brian Gush. Bookings have now CLOSED (waiting list set up).

The 87th BDC Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 21 April, also at the Clubhouse

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bentley’s first victory at Le Mans in 1924, a special Centenary Tour to Le Mans will take place on Wednesday 12-Monday 17 June (the 24 Hours itself takes place on 15-16 June).

Arranged in conjunction with Classic Grand Touring (the Club’s events partner), the five-night tour for 25 Bentleys, includes track hospitality. Bookings have now CLOSED.

This year's 76th Summer Concours will be held over the weekend of Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 July at the elegant 16th century Walton Hall in Warwickshire

Two full days of activities are planned, including a gala dinner in Walton Hall itself on the saturday evening, with the highlight being the Concours itself on the Sunday when the prizes for the finest cars, including Best in Show, will be awarded.

The weekend will also feature a special homage to the Derby, which celebrated its 90th anniversary last year, with a display of Club Members' models. Derby expert Jeremy Marshall Roberts, the East Midlands Region Chairman, will also provide a fascinating talk on the model. There will also be a Saturday evening gala dinner and optional visits to various places of interest in the area on the day.

Options for weekend accommodation have also been arranged for Members and guests at the four-star Walton Hall Hotel & Spa

BDC Silverstone, the Club’s 76th annual race day, has been confirmed for Saturday 10 August

This year, the Times Challenge Trophy Bentley scratch race – the day's blue-riband event – will be supplemented by the John Duff Trophy and Frank Clement Cup race to celebrate the centenary of Bentley’s first win at Le Mans in 1924 (it’s planned that the latter event will happen instead of the usual Bentley handicap and BDC Open races).

Most of the grids have also now been confirmed. There will also be the usual Bentley track parade and a paddock display of the John Duff Trophy and Frank Clement Cup race cars.

The day will be preceded by the Touring Assembly on Friday 9 August, which will culiminate in the popular evening hog-roast paddock party at Silverstone.
